Beauty. It deserves better photos.

Top tube is cc.
Yes my photography clearly has a lot to be desired. Keep wondering if I get myself an SLR camera whether my pictures will become automatically better....

Hmm...a lack of interest eh?
I love this bike, the missus is not so sure. I think it's got a lovely classic look. Perhaps I'll rework it......oh I don't know I'll give it another day on here then advertise it elsewhere.

Unfortunately I forgot to finger it when I had the bottom bracket out...
Bump for typing this with a straight face. -

Wow classy bike this is. Best frame Batavus made ever. Loads of pro's used this in the early days.
SOLD, SOLD, SOLD
Classy looking Batavus Pro with a full Shimano 600 Ultegra groupset.
The Batavus Pro was the Gazelle Champion Mondial's main competitor and is easily on par with those. I think this is built with Columbus SL tubing, the sticker pre dates when Columbus put what actual tubing it is, so I'm quite sure that makes it SL. Unfortunately I forgot to finger it when I had the bottom bracket out to see if it had SLX spirals.
Has the stunning Batavus Pro fork profile which is very difficult to picture but one of my favourite features of the frame.
Paint is in great condition with just a few minor scratches here and there. The chrome has the slightest speckles on it which is probably more visible in the pictures than in reality. You will have to look closely in real life to see that the chrome is not perfect.
Groupset is Shimano 600 Ultegra 14 speed. All in great condition and working perfectly. Wolber TX rims are hardly showing any wear at all.
Saddle is a little tatty but it's crying out for a brown Brooks Colt....
New tyres, rim tape, chain and tape have got it all ship shape.
I'd like £300 + £15 postage.
