That's very interesting reading and useful for the next time it happens (I'm a pessimist).
I've got nothing really to claim this time though (other than adding to my ever-increasing bike anxiety and scaring the shit out of my colleague), so I probably won't pursue them more than sending them a series of increasingly whiny emails.
