anyone in se23 or nw london with a crank puller?
I have a crank puller in SE23 if you wanna borrow it.
Does anyone have a hacksaw I can borrow? Not a junior, one big enough to saw a quill stem off. It's seized in forks, and I don't want to twist them too 'ard in case I bend them.
My thinking is that I'll saw the stem off so I can get the forks out the frame, then take a blowtorch to the steerer. I've tried the drain cleaner (strong alkali) which nicely stripped the anodising on the stem but hasn't loosened it up at all.
I've tried twisting it and hammering it through from the other side but no joy.
Any other tips before I get medieval? Stem is already fucked by the way, the last owner sawed half way through it.

Was just wondering if anyone has a chain whip and lock ring tool that I could borrow as soon as possible, the closer to Fulham the better.
I would need to take it home overnight and return it the next day - if that is okay. Let me know if anyone can do anything for me!
