  • Sew on Elk grip looks lovely and is pretty easy to get on but i haven't riden it in the rain, was a present for a very special person so never got to test it in all weathers. it does need a fair bit of TLC to keep the color and feel

    I spent ages putting it on, and making sure it was nice and tight. But it still twists about under force. The colour and feel have however gotten better with age (neatsfoot oil recomended), and it is bloody resiliant, having survived two encounters with the tarmac. My OCDs just wont except the moving around. It is also pretty hard on the hands on long rides. I may try it again some time though, with some thin gel under and using extra double sided tape.

    I remember reading somewhere on the forum about someone who did leather wraps of handlebars (instead of bar tape)...Anyone here have any idea who/what thread.....?
