Don't think that's a fair comparison tbh-I imagine if you are a novice 4th cat (male or female) and every week there are bad accidents you'll be put off participating also, if the organiser has a responsibility to provide as safe an environment as possible then that's his call. I don't think it's a great article as it's pretty unclear who is being excluded as I interpreted it as 4th Cat Seniors also.
They are doing replacement workshops which could be good for building skill/confidence for less experienced riders?
