It wouldn't be any bigger as the centre of a black hole is described as a "singularity". The event horizon may seem to be further from the black hole, but the actual point at which the mass is concentrated will not grow in size.
I see what you are saying, but the size of a black hole is determined as the size of its event horizon. After a black hole merger, due to their combined mass, the event horizon would be larger so the black hole would be bigger.
