I'll be in for a couple assuming jimbilly can make it this eve as we need to sort my insurance ting . might have to tramp it up first (dan?) for financial reasons though.

Not sure if I'm drinking tonight mate. Doubt it tbh. Might pop in later in the night though if I haven't fallen asleep.

BTW...I was thinking about speaking to the pizza bus and seeing if they would do us a post beers deal. Something people would be interested in?

Same here. But discounted beer is discounted beer and unprecedented in the history of forum drinks (AFAIK). Plus it is helpful for those counting their pennies.

East drinks had discounted beer at one of their pubs, but only by about 10p.

The landlord has agreed food deals in principle. Not beer.

This was meant to be in place last week but there was some confusion because we booked a table for 14 so they thought they were going to give us a discount from a 14 person meal bill.

They now understand that we tend to turn up and leave in dribs and drabs and are looking for individual item discounts. They have agreed to this. I made it clear to the that a discount on chips and other snacks and burgers would tend to be most appreciated

The bar manager was supposed to call me this week but hasn't. She gave me her number though so if I don't pop along tonight I'll give her a call.
