  • ^ I second that.

But the problem is that the HW-division is so dire, that even a idiot like Haye can make some millions attracting negative attention. Haye's public behaviour is a poor man's version of Mayweather (who's also a highly flawed individual of course, but at least is a genuinely gifted fighter).

Haye shouldn't get those chances - never mind Chisora who hasn't proven anything signifant. But they do; there's no need for fighting your way up these days. Just act shitty, hype it up and cash your check.

    Ugh.

  • Amateurs FTW!

  • Don't get me started on that other shitbag fraud Danny Williams!

  • Remember: Danny Williams beat Mike Tyson...

When Tyson was a husk of a man and a tub of lard could've beaten him.

    Oh, hang on...

  • Haye's still in hiding like a little punk...

  • Why don't the UK Po Po get involved?

  • What an embarrassment, is it just me or did Chisora come out as the good guy in the end? He was even attending to Adam Booth's injuries I think (did Haye glass him?)

Such a shame there are no decent heavyweights to stay up for these days but middle and welter weights make up for it I guess.

Looking forward to Mayweather vs. Cotto fight followed by Pacquiao vs. Bradley fight a month later.

  • When Haye swung the tripod that is when Booth received his cut.

  • Self defense?

  • ^ Ha! Chisora being typecast as nuts could be the best thing to happen to him as a boxer. After all it's how Ali beat Liston, by convincing Liston that he was gaga. It's such a simple but effective ploy. How do you deal with someone who's mental? You can't because you don't know what they're going to do.

  • Chisora's about as dangerous as a lettuce.

  • ^ I didn't see the fight (no Sky because they're greedy cnuts) but thought that Chisora actually gave Klitschko a bit of grief in the early rounds? Was thinking about it yesterday and their height difference, it's always really awkward to punch down and saps all power out of your punches that is if Chisora played the game of getting inside with Vitali, that would have been his best chance as a shorter opponent.

  • Alright - he's as dangerous as a mini kiev.

  • (did Haye glass him?)

    .

am i the onlyone in the world who thinks he defo did glass him? the pic seems good evidence and the video is nigh on 100 per cent. haye is holding and drinking from a bottle of beer , approaches the dude and swings a punch and on impact there is a sound of breaking glass and glass seems to fly in all directions. hardly need for calling Sherlock

  • He punched him while holding the bottle. Dereck would know about it if he was glassed or bottled.

More importantly who saw Eubank Jr's one handed fight?

  • Haye has talent, regardless of whether he's a proper heavyweight or not, you don't get to where he is without working hard and being talented for years before you appear on the scene. However, what I can't stand about him as a south London boy is the terrible and I mean truly appalling example he's setting especially to other young men in south London. Yes his antics are all about creating hype and selling tickets but there are other ways of doing that successfully. Ali was an undisputed big mouth but he did it (possibly with the exception of his 'Uncle Tom' jibes against Frazier) with flair and good humour. Haye just comes across as a spoilt teenager, to his detriment and that of the sport. Yes boxing is (often but not always) a crooked and sometimes ugly sport but that's no reason to perpetuate the stereotypes.

  • According to the BBC, Chisora is to fight Haye at Upton Park on 14th July.

    What a farce.

  • Isn't Haye a Milwall fan? Seems a strange location if he is. More so because it's in the arse end of London and you wouldn't want to rely on the district line to take you home on a Saturday night.

Anyone got a link for the Mayweather vs Cotto fight? It's being touted as Mayweather and Cotto's best fights of their individual careers.

  • Looks like the Khan vs Peterson fight is off. There's something not righ with this Peterson guy.

    #tinfoilhat

  • Synthetic testosterone?

  • The publicity is still publicity and I'll definitely watch Haye take lumps out of Chisora

  • Interesting sparring on the Today programme this morning between Frank Warren and James Naughtie.

Warren was on the ropes, giving a masterclass in evasion and defense. "I know I said I'd have nothing to do with a fight between the two, but I'm not promoting it".

Naughties cut through sharply, "But you're a major shareholder in the company that is promoting the fight."

Warren, horibly exposed, parried weakly, "That's right, but I'm not promoting it".

Naughtie hit him up again, "But you stand to make a lot of money".

    Warren, clearly hurting, "Not necessarily"

Naughtie on the counter with a sharp jab. Warren tried ambitious manouevres far beyond his skill level, "Please, you've asked a question, and I'm answering it".

Warren then floundered for a moment, before Naughtie bafflingly let him off the ropes.

Horrendous mismatch. Warren's trainers should never have let him in the ring. He is so bent he could barely stand, and from round one his vision was badly affected by those dollar signs he seemed unable to shake.

  • Terry Marsh should've done it properly.
