I run a 24 rear and 26 front on my jump/dirt/4x bike... bit old hat but it's alot quicker through the whoops tha 26 front and rear, easier to manual and I reckon the wheel is stronger too?... maybe 69r is easier to manoeuvre?
I guess it can live here...

often 29er riders just use a 26 inner tube for emergencies - so many people are tubeless these days, and the smaller tube can be used to limp home (if your tyre is so fucked it wont re seal then it is probably going to be sketchy to stick a tube in and do any serious riding)

Oooh, is that an old classic p.3 from like 2005 or 2006? So cool, i remember i wanted one then, so bad, but could not even losely afford it!
And hey, dont post your shit in anti mate, come on -

dont post your shit in anti
takes a real man to do that...

Had it since 2001! Awesome bike and still going strong... Well could do with a new fork, and maybe a new wheelset...

So are there any bonuses over a pure 29er?
Weight difference is minimal and then you'd have to take an extra set of spare tubes.smaller wheel = easier to accelerated, thought that was fairly obvious with off road motorcycles.
the combination of quick acceleration of the 26" plus great rolling of the 29" wheel would make a great bike.

^^^ Those fork could probably do with a service. Practically bomb proof those, unlike Fox shocks. Easy enough to do the service yourself given patience.
^Makes sense, but the difference must be minimal. I'd have thought a 29" wheel on the back would make more sense as the front has the suspension.

aren't these just silly expensive versions of these 80's Modolo delta take-offs:
or do they have added 'science' with a sprinkle of unobtanium thrown in for good measure?

no front brake?
how do you do the ledge frontflips? -

They have the science of actually being wind tunnel tested, and the additional benefit of being available and actually slowing you down. No unobtanium, though; just aluminium, stainless steel and ABS plastic. If there is a 1980s brake which you should buy second hand instead of the new TriRig, it is DuraAce AX BR-7300, still the most aero mass produced brake pending wind tunnel tests of the production TriRig

hmm... they look nice.
Kronos go for stupid money just like the deltas do too... probably as much as the TriRig. Will keep my eyes out for the DuraAce ones for sure now though... at least they are functional.

I personally feel the same way, inasmuch as the difference between 23c and 25c, but then some people notice it, some don't.
I'm still sticking to my cheapo rigids 29ers.

Great forks, blew a seal on one leg (although they still work reasonably in spite of this) any idea if you can still get seals? Patience - I struggle, mechanical knowledge - I struggle... How about I post them to you, cover the costs of parts/oil and pay you for your time?
no front brake?
how do you do the ledge frontflips?Don't really use a front brake riding dirt, no front flips here, just x-ups & big whipz.

Yep, seals are still available. I think you can buy service kits for them which contains all the oil, seals and any other bits. You could send them to me. Are they 100 or 130mm?

Same design principle, usual differences in material quality and finish you'd expect between 600 & DA. I think the BR-6300 came in at least 2 versions with different reach.
