^ was so tempted to hide the Mathers whilst you nipped off for a photo ;)
Dof of the caps as always to Jaqui & Ted, superb run and lovely route.
Thank you to all for making it a super enjoyable afternoon!

I half expected it to be gone when I came back.
Went to see Robin afterwards, he was pleased that the bike is well used (nice collection of paint chips I've acquired), shame he couldn't beon the ride on the day even though he'd planned to be until an 11th hour bug wiped him out.
It was a great day and ride. Lovely seeing Mr Coxon after so many years, a good natter before the start, and then we were off. Spent most of the ride chatting to Honour who runs a bike shop in Oxford, and then most of the break chatting to people about the Mather some more... oh, and one forumengers diligent training schedule and how he couldn't eat a single cake as it would break his diet (to the guy in question, it's very impressive... but equally boring to hear - it's why I started LFGSS, to not have those conversations and to drink instead).
Major doff of cap to itsbruce and the incredible marmalade vodka.
And of course, to the highly stressed Jacqui and Ted who as far as I could tell were working their arses off. A job well done.
