See Hear is on the set of BBC1's award-winning drama series - 'Doctors' as David Bower joins the cast for a deaf storyline exploring the relationship between a deaf father and his son. We find out more about the benefits of Cued Speech in helping deaf children quickly acquire an understanding of spoken language. **And we check how safe the roads are for deaf or hard of hearing cyclists.**

Cheers Ed. Looking forward to it. I'm sure you'll be making the case that seeing, not hearing, is the much more important and accurate sense for minimising risk on the road

I just did, I said there's no difference whatsoever when it come in riding your bike, and deaf people are likely to be aware of their surround more than hearing.
I also note that there's no difference in teaching deaf and hearing people, just the communication between trainee and trainer.

Great stuff Ed. Your message about there being no difference between hearing and deaf riders came across brilliantly as did your top tips for everyone. Shame about the ghost bikes rounding off the programme after you had given such a positive vibe.

Well said Ed! Great advice. I'm amazed at the amount of people who don't do a 'life saver' look over their shoulder when turning. Idiots. That presenter needs cycle training.

Glad to hear it went accordingly, was a bit worried that they might included stuff that I messed up on.

Do anyone have any idea how I can save an iPlayer video into a normal movie format so the missus can watch it in Denmark?

Good stuff Ed.
I used to enjoy watching See Hear, it still looks like a decent prog.

You know you don't have to go straight from A to B.
Ed you should try and capitalise on that programme to drum up work for yourself. Don't be backwards at coming forwards. -

I suppose you could go round the M25 and extend it.

No mention of helmets ot hi viz... really good advise for a change ;-)
Nice, I'd like to listen to this too seeing as the old hearing is packing in & it's getting harder to hear the kids at the back of the snake!
