I think everyone on here knows that VB is a proper techhead, and I am but a mere fanboy. But I have another reason for not wanting to buy a phone that doesn't have a replaceable battery, and that is that I recycle my phones to friends and family all over the world, and where would the new users be, with a phone that only has 15 minutes of battery life from full?
The designed-in obsolescence is a new feature (thank you Steve Jobs) that I despise. It forces people to buy new phones, instead of a simple battery. I would only consider the SGS III over and above the One X, due to this main feature. The microSD expansion is also something I like, as I'd want to carry my content wherever and however I want to.
