could someone look at moving around stuff on the website so it looks better? is there a way for the most important posts to stay at the top? I'm admin but don't want to mess too much!

If we wanted the tournament details at the top, it could be set below the page links or as the header image. I'll have a go once I've done the flier with more info, and in a more web friendly format.

Erm, anyone got a face cage I can buy??
Stable - horse - bolted.
I ate dirt on Wednesday... I hope this picture conveys the pain i'm in and how much we should all get lids.
I KO'd myself after a nasty high side during Speedway training.
when I came round I lept to my feet, proclaimed I was fine before passing out again. The hospital did nothing other than xray me, leaving my skin full of shale.
When I got home I had a 3 hour soak in the bath to get all the clagg out my face, this is what I then looked like
Realising I have a hole in my nose I could smuggle drugs across borders in and two huge slits in my eyebrow and eye socket I went to see my friend's wife who's a nurse for some butterfly stitches
Today the infection is tryng to take over so i'm mostly sponsoring savlon
still shale and dirt is coming out, so i'm keeping up the savlon until the infection has gone, then i'll allow the scabs to take over.I also grazed all of the inside of my bottom lip, which is possibly the most painful thing ever, imagine an ulcer the size of all of your lower jaw area and that's about it.
today's picture
I'm quite tempted to sneak up on people in Tesco with my 'better' side towards them, then turn and face them and slurr ''brrraaaiinnnsss'' and see if I can make anyone scream. the only thing putting me off is the thought someone might hit me in my squishy eye socket. I havn't shed a tear or sworn yet, that might tip me over that edge.
anyone got a blender/smoothie maker I can borrow :(

oUCH! Heal up mate!
Its a shame the hospital were so shit. I hope this persuades a few more people to get face cages, and helmets for the road too. No face = no polo
What exactly does speedway involve, is it on motorbikes or those singlespeeds with the strange handlebars?

Cycle speedway involves 4 riders from 2 teams who are on 4 fixed positions at the start line. team 1 are 1st and 3rd, team 2 are 2nd and 4th, 1st being the inside line and 4th being the outside (my favourite) when the gate goes up it's a 4lap race. of the oval track.
The bikes are single speed freewheel with no brakes and have bars like Danski once had on his polo bike.
No face cage - no cycling.
I can sip through a straw, can't eat. Have no expression in my face(hope it will come back) have many exposed nerve endings so the slightest breeze is agony. not fun I have to say.

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan that looks *pain*ful. Heal up soon!
Things like this always prompt a helmet debate - witness the nutbars on birminghamcyclist.com - but Simple was wearing a helmet and it didn't help one bit by the looks of things. I don't think it's common practice for people to wear full face helmets for speedway, and face-plants are mercifully uncommon in polo. This sounds like a freak accident, and no amount of protection is going to prevent those.
BUT, face cages are pretty good for dissipating the impact from mallets/balls. I don't get why people want to take risks with their flipping eyes and mouths. I like seeing things (being functionally blind really makes you appreciate your sight) and eating things.
People may say that face impacts are rare, but they're not *that *rare. I've heard /seen photos of 5+ injurious facial impacts in European polo in the last year or so. And you're going to look like an idiot saying 'this really doesn't happen that often' when you roll up at hospital with your eye dangling on your cheek like some gruesome Christmas bauble.
I have decided to rename myself asian chris in the hope i get inducted as a sub on team chrisis. Lols
