I haven't been in a year or two but they were a bunch of cowboys when I last visited. Variable pricing and/or a variable rate credit card/debit card surcharge depending on whether they think they can get away with it or not.
I conducted a small experiment a few years back. I went in to buy some tyres and was quoted £30 for a pair of scwalbe luganos. When my friend Kate went in later that day they tried to charge her £39 for the same tyres . When challenged they claimed that the coloured ones cost more than the black ones.
Could have changed hands and improved since.
£5 CC surcharge my arse. They soon changed their minds if you walked away and said that you weren't paying cash.
