Cheers Gaz. Yours is coming along nicely. I'm a bit gutted that this bike has cost me actual cash money, 'cos I had to buy tubs and wanted a shimano 600 seatpost and a period-specific Turbo saddle. Otherwise, everything woulda been partbin special. Cost in total - £150ish.
'80s Joe Waugh frame and forks, Gipiemme sprinter hubs laced 3x to Mavic GP4 tubular rims, Conti Giro Tubs, Shimano 600 (mostly Arabesque) groupset, 52t chainring and 12-18 7sp block, Profile Aero bars with Cane Creek TT levers, temporary Brooks saddle 'till a more period-suitable Turbo arrives from ebay.

I wanted a fast, geared bike to accompany the two fixed gear bikes and the classic tourer that I already own, so I built this. Looking forward to a fast, fun summer, then a respray over winter.
