Cycling in this morning at about 9:20/30 I saw two cars that had crashed at the corner of Victoria St and Palace St. It looked like one had turned right acrosss traffic to get into Palace St and a car coming the other way on Victoria had shashed into them as some speed.
I saw the aftermath - there was debris all over the palce and the Plocie were there. I wheeled past and thought nothing of it really other than the cars were a bit smashed up but nothing that indicated it was very serious.
It was only when I got in to work a colleague said he'd see someone sitting down at the scene being 'comforted' and there was a bike lying near them in the road.
The fact that they were sitting up is a good sign I hope - perhaps they weren't 'involved' but are just upset at having witnessed it.
Does anyone know more? Hope this is a false alarm.
