Royce BB creaking

I'm running a Italian threaded Royce Ti BB with a pair of Campag 80's unfluted cranks on my tarckbike.

It's been fine for about 150 miles - but now I'm getting a horrible creak when applying pressure. I've tightened up the crank bolts but it doesn't seem to have helped much. Anyone got any ideas?

Ti up against steel is notoriously creak prone. There are special compounds designed to avoid this. Look up "titanium copper anti-seize".

there was a huge thread about this on retrobike I think... might be worth checking out. Royce BB's are pretty notorious for doing this though.
