Having just spent some moolah getting my top tube replaced after putting a dent in it (using the classic 'swinging drop handlebars' method), I now want to put something on the frame in that location to prevent further incidents.
What though? I used to used inner tube wrapped around a few times, but took this off after putting Brooks leather bar tape on (think this would provide protection in itself - fail). Would this do? I know you can get those Kashimax ones but they are £££ and look balls.
Any advice would be great.
