I know this is not exactly from the period specified, but it's certainly exploded.
This is a strip by Herge, the Tintin artist, and comes from 'Quick et Flupke, Gamins de Bruxelles' The album is available on the net.
I will put up the second page in another post in a few momemnts.
I will provide a translation if people want it.
