Given the lack of replies, I'll update the thread.
Raced there yesterday, and it was probably the best crit circuit I've done (previous experience mainly at Darley Moor and Mallory in the Midlands). Nicely lumpy, it's not just a massive corner-fest and has a great fast winding descent down the back before climbing back up to the finish line.
Raced it in the wet, and there is a lot of water held on the very smooth surface which sprays up but somehow doesn't get slippery - not sure how that works. It is a bit of muddy hell, though as the carpark isn't much of a hard-packed surface and the entrance to the track is again over mud - which makes the track quite muddy in places. This is probably emphasised by the off-roaders occasionally riding on the tarmac. No clubhouse or permanent toilets (2 portaloos, so bring bog-roll and be prepared to queue - or nip in the bushes if you're not a girl) yet although I was told this is expected to be done over the summer
