p-clips from the look of it.
Eamesy, any decent welder in London can do it for you, there's one in Deptford whose name escape me, but he did the rack, mudguard and canti mount for £70, so mudguard eyelit I reckon about £40 give or take.

Was that on your Gangsta? Would probably give Oak Cycles a try to be honest.

Aye, on my Gangsta, give whoever you want a try, it's not exactly rocket science as long the person know what they're doing.

Soz just caught up here, yep P clips around some inner tube and tape, no issues yet. 'Guards are a pain in the arse though, spesh at the back, but can't do without them really.

If you want close ups let me know.

Pain in the ass how? It wont be for a Steamroller by the way, just a road frame with no eyelets
Which reminds me, I really want a steamroller....

Turns out my LBS had P-clips! they seem to work okay, need some tweaking to keep them secure though
What are the chances of finding a second hand steamroller? they are not cheap!

I need a 53cm, thanks Anyway
I hardly ever see my size for sale, when I do its sold :(

I put Midge bars on my steamroller this weekend, still haven't put the tape on yet. But will post some pictures when it is ready. I went for the Tektro levers that Condor have in the end since they were black. Using the hoods feels like bullhorns, the other hand positions work too. Just going to take a little getting used too. I have lowered my saddle and moved it slightly forward and down a touch.

Buying it new and complete is not really affordable at the moment :(

That's about how I want it. Think the bearings in the back wheel are rough though.

My steamroller with the new bars and pedals - still haven't put on the mudguards.

• #994
... and then there were two
Still unsure about the mavic bars on the creamroller, probably going to put some drops back on and get a slightly smaller chainring.
The other is set up from polo, it's belonged to a few people on the forum, been hit by a car, stolen and recovered and who knows what else. All it needs is a rear brake (finish should wear through on the rim pretty quicky), dual lever, freewheel, black pedals+straps and a new rear tyre.

Fuck that sucks, really sorry to hear it. Sounds like a fair bit of effort went in to the build as well, nice components throughout.
