It works exceptionally well.
The cut-outs are exactly where your fingers are when you grab the phone and pull it... try it. The thumb on top goes down the to left at about 30', and the finger on the back goes down to the right at 30'. It's basically near perfect.
The advantage to the folded bottom and single-piece? It's not stiff, so you can push it to help release the phone from the top.
One problem though murts... it's too tall. Perhaps 4mm or 5mm too tall. You should've let me get my vernier calipers out to measure it.
