For Sale: Canon Eos 5d (mark I) with 50mm F1.4 lens

Thought i'd try this here before listing elsewhere.. I am selling my Mark 1 Canon Eos 5d with 50mm F1.4 lens, both are in excellent condition and will be shipped in original boxes.

It hasn't been used for a good while so time to let it go. I had it serviced by Clock Tower Cameras in Brighton last week, they gave it a clean, sensor, lens etc just to makes sure all was well. As you can see from the pics, the condition is great with only a few tiny rub marks from being transported in a camera bag.

It would be good to sell body and lens together but let me know if you'd like one or the other.

The body comes with x2 batteries, charger, orig discs, instructions, strap, body cap. The lens is in great shape, see pics, no marks, dust, blemishes. Snappy and fast. Comes with both orig caps.

Payment - cash on collection (Brighton) or paypal.
Dibs ok but please PM me if interested, I will reply on a first come first served basis.

Tempted by the lens but new they're around £260. Room to move?

Maybe by a little if no-one is interested in both. I have looked through the prices on ebay (and google shopping) and this looks fair to me.. Can only see it for £260 on a few less well known sites/overseas (Dig Rev) - it is £290+ on amazon etc ?

do (ebay price) - (ebay listing fee) to work out prices. They go regularly on ebay for 200-220, occasionally lower.

That said, it's a fantastic lens and worth the money

Have you owned it from new, have you used it professionally, any ideas on the shutter count?

Yes I have owned it from new - not used professionally so it has had an easy life.. As far as I know there is no way to way to see the shutter count on this model but I would imagine it would be fairly low.
