A follow up: Is there a modern equivalent to the MA2? I had a quick look, nothing I saw was as boxy and low profile as the MA2....anything out there?

Ke35: Fixed please. What do you have? I will be looking for a similar wheelset with geared freewheel in the future mind you.
Angels!: Yup, excellent cheers thanks for that, they look sweet.

This might be a bit too late - I have a set of MA2 wheels. They are not fixed though. They have 32 spokes on each laced to 105 hubs (free hub). The wheels are approximately 15-20 years old and were found unused in the garge of my mates new house. I have had them on my training bike for a year. This has mainly been used on a turbo but also approximately 50 miles on the road. One hub has a few scratches where I struggled to get a tire on the clincher and there is some braking marks on both. Overall these wheels are in excellent condition for the age. The hubs run smooth as if new. Both wheels are polished up and look great. Let me know if you are interested?
Anyone got an all alloy (no black bits) low profile Mavic ma2 or similar wheelset going spare? Low flange hubs, fixed.
Thankyou.
