• I bought this off french ebay a couple of years ago, but it's been lying dormant ever since, so the time has come to pass it on, and build a tourer instead.

    Seat tube: 53cm c-t-c.
    Top tube: 55cm c-t-c.
    Front dropouts: 100mm
    Rear dropouts: 120mm
    Unknown tubing.
    Nervex Pro lugs.
It seems the brake drillings are hiding under a layer of filler and thick paint.
BB: French thread. I'll include the unused Velo Orange BB in the photos for an extra £20 (or you can buy it separately, if you like)
Forks: you will need a french threaded headset, and a french size quill stem. I have a 120mm one in good nick that I can throw in for free.

The clearances are for 27" wheels, and are definitely more path than track.
The paint job I'm pretty sure was an amateur job, but looks nice enough, (if lilac is your thing!).. there are one or two blemishes, the worst of which is shown in the last picture.

    I'd like £100
Will post at cost, but pick up from SE14 preferred.

If I've forgotten anything, please ask.

  • Perfect frame for someone looking to build a fixed bike, and at a good price.

  • Thanks George

    Price drop - £97

  • Incidently - how come I'm Cat 3 now? Pretty sure that's new... does anyone know how it works?

  • Spaced 120ish at the rear?
oops I read the op now.

  • Gorgeous, if i only had time/space/needs

  • please correct me if im wrong, but the rear dropouts/ends look quite modern/crackfox-ish.....?

  • Not necessarily, I had a 40s path with rather small neat ends, pretty sure they were originals.

  • i stand corrected.

  • Interested!

  • Hi Tomo,sent me a PM if you're interested

  • Great bargain, but one thing puzzles me, why would a French frame ever be built for 27inch wheels?
