Buy an £18,000+ big pick-up truck.
Did not want to spend more than £150 on a new bicycle.
It's not brand new and I need a pick up truck for my business. I'd have a smaller, cheaper car if I didn't need to have a truck. Thanks for no help everyone

No problem, it is the friendliest forum on the internet after all.

£150 won't go far unless you pick up a bargain second hand bike on ebay - this is unlikely, especially if you don't know much.
You're best putting a post on the classifieds section of the forum and asking for a bike in your size and probably adding £100 to your budget.
Cheap brand new bikes are a false economy.

The used bikes seem to be going for 200+ on ebay.
Is it cheaper or worth building a fixie from scratch? I think I'd be able to get a decent frame off someone. I was quite up for starting a project for the weekends, but thought it would be less hassle if I could just buy one for cheaper?
Thanks

How about asking in the appropriate thread?

Because the dead horse that is the LFGSS response of "be sarcastic, abusive and offer no actual advice" doesn't do anyone any favours and offering a reasonable reply is likely to get the person out of this thread and where they need to go.

Hi guys, I'm new on here. I want to get a fixed gear bike to ride around on this summer. For fun and use instead of my Nissan Navara truck which drinks diesel haha. I just want something fun, fast and under £150 to start out so I can either improve it over time or replace it over time. I found this on Ebay? Can anyone tell me if this is a good bike for me? I know it's not high end, but to me it seems like a good value for money! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/320894277995?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
Cheers, Toby.
I thought that was a prank, really.

Sorry, I can't help it. I especially like the Ourys. I'm having a big 2009 fixie revival phase.

Straight away. All NJS builds should have fully stamped tubs.
