Thursday Night - Hour of Power

Gonna pop across and say hi, might join for a warm up lap or 2 and then bugger off. Hipster rollup jeans here we come!

Well I suck. After osr and I got dropped on the warm up lap due to a cyclist and ped, I got a cramp trying to catch back up that was pretty painful. I ended my hour after 1 lap. Shameful.

^lol, cheer up mate, i did my lap and went home! At least we survived the Chinese woMan stepping out into the road about 3 metres in front of us!

Pah. Only tired cyclists puncture, and I *was *knackered. First HoP puncture in three years though.
Always nice to see the great eagle soar down and take the little'uns under his wing. Weather wasn't as bad as it could have been. Was really nice with a fixed only bunch at the beginning, but wasn't bad once the gearies started yo-yoing the pace. Plus was good to see some more Rollas in the same place at the same time.
Slow and hurty - I came out a lap down at about 22.4mph, I imagine C.B. came out a little quicker.

Enjoyed that in spite of the weather. 6pt - thanks for the beer. I'll get one in next time.

I think I'm helping Michael move on Thursday. I assumed it was a daytime task but apparently evening, because we're not all freelancing slackers. The thought of doing shooters hill -> catford and back a few times in evening traffic is more unpleasant than 8 laps of RP in the rain.

Did my first ever set of laps this eve. Got drenched on the ride back home.
Managed to hold exactly 20mph average for the 8 circles including stops at lights [too many].
Hope to join you guys next week.
