went there one time when a friend was meant to be playing. shocking turnout, including a young girl staggering around with no knickers who was being plied with even further drinks by a group of guys who were lewdly gesturing what they intended to do with her later, really uncomfortable to watch.
the music was shit, the sparse crowd even worse. my friend eventually found the promoter and politely explained it was probably not beneficial to either of them for him to play

I like the pace and echo in this one. Slow, trippy, atmospheric... still danceable.
I'd really like to see Villalobos play somewhere small again, ~150 people or so. Saw him around ... 2003 and it was a great gig, he'd had a few smaller hits, but wasnt a big DJ superstar and the vibe was brilliant, people were fully into it but not going mental or anything (like Fabric), just dancing all the time. He played 808 the Bass Queen which is the only time I ever heard that track out, I was enraptured.

Some friends are throwing a pretend rave in an empty flat at the weekend and have asked for some music suggestions for some proper old skool rave music. At the time that all my peers were raving I was listening to fleetwood mac and not making eye contact so it passed me by somewhat. Any suggestions for free podcasts I can download to impress them with my musical prowess?
