Boycott Addison Lee

Dear Mr. Griffin,
You've had great "success" in business and made your millions; if that’s the sort of thing that satisfies you I can respect it. But cast your mind back to the days before profit dominated your life - before you lived, ate and breathed pounds and pence per mile, fuel tax and driver efficiency. Do you recall more simple pleasures? Like this morning, I found a lovely sunny spot to stand in, whilst waiting somewhere chilly. Or how about the pink blossom and daffodils bursting out all around the city at this time of year? Or a beautiful summer sunset that turns the London sky clear gold through deep clear blue and the first twinkling star suggesting endless possibilities? These pleasures are nothing to do with money and are simply gifted by the world around us. Riding a bicycle is one such pleasure. It's free (and sorry Mr Griffin, but it always will be). It's healthy. It can liberate anyone. And it's fun. You couldn't buy my right to cycle for a million pounds, and you will never take it by legislation or force of action. Please respect other people and revoke your rash statements endangering cyclists’ safety and freedom.
