'Above us the Waves', not a proper war film unless John Mills is in it.

A bit depressing from what I remember too. Another sort of sub-movie classic has to be Ice Station Zebra. BIg cast, lots of action and a few tense scenes.

Ah, I was waiting to hear from someone what they thought. I'll go see it next week. So glad it wasn't a disappointment, like Spiderman 3, or Iron Man 2. Was it as good as Thor would you say?

Aye Avengers is awesome! So glad that it isn't a stinker. For me 'The Hulk' was probably the highlight, but it was all good. Will probably see it again over the weekend,

Watched Ip Man and Ip Man 2 last week on film4. Awesome films..

Last friday night I was in a Thai place in Kliburn and Ip Man was on. Funny seeing the staff and at least 3 of the tables talking around the fight scene in the Dojo. Everyone loves this movie and that scene in particular is amazing.

Ip is good, I preferred 1 over 2 but both worth a watch.

I like 1 over 2 as well.

Looking forward to 'The Monkey King' - Donnie Yen and Chow Yun-Fat two different kinds of action stars in the same movie. Got to be good. I would post the trailer link, but it would seem the trailer is just the credits doesn't contain any scenes from the film.

+1 for Ip Man, the first one.

I haven't seen the second one, as the story felt complete at the first. Maybe I was wrong, and should give it a look.
