Spotted...

Saw the most horrible incident this morning. Arrived at the lights where Kennington Park Road and Kennignton Lane join just as the lights turned green. Rolled over, to see a cyclist and a motorist exchanging words but it didn't look any more than that so kept going.

100 yards or so later hear shouting and turn round to see the cyclist trying to stop the motorist leaving and the motorist driving straight over his bike in the road. The motorist then sped off, jumping the red lights at the pedestrian crossing on Newington Butts.

No idea if the cyclist is on here but if you are I got the registration - HD54 LXO - and am prepared to act as witness if you need one.

This was me. I'm a new member but have snooped around the forum for a while. Thanks for offering to be a witness. I already had two cyclists and a bus driver as witnesses who each confirmed the licence plate as you have quoted it. Sadly the police have said they can't identify the driver so aren't taking it forward. This seems odd to me given that they have a licence plate, it was a minicab and had a fare in the back. Worst news is that my beloved Condor Pista is a write off. I'm very upset by the whole thing but trying to move on.
