They're all on tubs, sadly we have no team car though hence the Challenge Parigi-Roubaix "Open" tubular that I've been testing.

3 rides, 3 fucking p_nct_r_s!
Arse. What tyres for Roubaix?
At this rate it's going to be 32C Gatorskins- they have fuck all grip in the wet, but they don't p_nctr

Lots of rides, no p_nks.
Vittoria Pave for cobbles.
Durano Plus/Rubino Pro for miles and miles of shitty English roads..
-
• #27781
Durano plus, 25c, unpuncturable and handle great on cobbles.

Cheapest option is to sling the special Paris-Roubaix tyres in the bin and go back to Gators. Rear hub bearings are shot, so that needs money spending on it before tyres.
God fucking damn it.

Those Challenge Paris-Roubaix are £46 each, I'm glad I didn't spend that on them.

Is there any evidence for those nose tape things that Gilbert uses?
I was sure I read years ago they did nothing but they're still in use.

Rubino pro tech folding picked up shit fast.
Not sure if ridgid would have been any better?

They don't seem to helping Gilbert much this year, do they?
-
• #27787
No, but they worked for him last year.. so what's the verdict? Good for odd numbered years but not evens?

remember it's a leap year though..

These are the "Breathe Right Nasal Strips" as used (to no great effect) by Rubens Barichello?
EDIT although we don't know how fast he'd be without them, of course

Some of the Liquigas riders use them too. Where's Henners with some medical study link when you need him...

What bottle cage will fit a Camelbak 750ml Stainless Steel Better Bottle?
-
• #27792
Is it not a standard diam bottle?

Bend a metal cage to suit?
-
• #27795
This would be the stainless steel tart's choice

It's a bigger than standard diameter. I tried one in an Elite cage in the shop and it didn't feel very secure.

http://www.totalcycling.com/a-z/bottles_cages/bottle_cages/BC_KINGCAGE_SS.htmlWould says this since the lips in the front of the cage you linked may not get it to fit properly;

Possibly, although I've never had a problem with bottles whose "waist" doesn't line up with the front lip of the cage

In case we have a new frame and forks can someone tell me the cost for a good wheel set handle bars stem saddle and the bars that saddle and stem fit onto?
Lets say that the frame has a price of 300 GBP.Just to see the budget!I dont care if the parts are used or new!
The bike is going to be a fixed gear.Cheers and thnx in advance!

£300 frame?? Buy whatever you want, but if you're dropping that much on a f+f, i'd expect to spend at least the same amount on everything else, so £600 in total... at least...
I've been using 25c Gators, and they grip wet road like an ice-cube grips a glass table top.
