I rewatched Leon today, and was still enthralled by it. Amazing, as its at least the sixth or seventh time I've watched it. Brilliant film.

I watch it three or four times a year. Incredible performance from EVERYONE in this film.

I'm watching Crimson Tide again, as I trawl through my collection of maybe 600-700 DVDs. Its a great film; loads of action without anything really happening. Its a real exercise in the creation of tension and the feeling of action, by using moving cameras and fast edit transactions. I love it. Oh yes, great acting by all in the film.

I love Yellow Submarine. But it's not really about the submarine...

I know someone who's an ex submarine commander. He says the only thing that's vaugely realistic in hunt for red October is the bit where it breaches out of the water...

The Guard - what a fucking great film. Laughed pretty much the whole way through. Good soundtrack too. More of the same please.
