Don't like it one bit, looks like something the Wehrmacht would use!
In a good way

Whose is it?
Textbook LFGSS build... Just lackss ATACs and bar ends.
Hi guys, my everyday all-round bike. Chain is KMC 710sl, it's ok in my opinion, I normally use the KMC 510HX. Valves are different lengths, just had these at home when I changed the tyres ;) Pretty happy with the normal gators, had both normal and hardshells in the past. LIghts are shit, but just lights, so I don't care so much. Anyways, I had all kinds of bikes, but this one is the one for me - great frame!

Real nice build, I'm quite envious.
Spotter nerged for crying halflink!

Looks like it's self-chevroning it's way to anti-porn.
lol
Because it is, and I cannot emphasise this enough, *FUCKING HIDEOUS*.

oh hush up, you were with me till the actual owner turned up.
Lars, its a great bike, don't get me wrong. There are just high standards in this thread and those things just niggled at me, probably out spurned from jealousy.

I love a properly built Gangsta.

...but if we're being anal, I'd take off the rim stickers.
(:

• #62759
Yep, in fact all the stickers except the down and head tubes. And lose those fucking crap Knogs. If we're being anal like.

I agree and understand your comments, especially in this thread. Let's see, maybe I'll loose the stickers tomorrow ;)

spray the nipples black, while you at it.

Lars, your Gangsta is one of the closest builds I've seen to a perfect example.
Yes, maybe destickered and de-knoged would be better, and if you're anal, the valves would be the same length, but for fucks sake, is any of that gonna actually effect the ride?!
Looks clean and an awesome ride.
Nicely done dear sir.
(and yes, I know this is the porn thread you whiners!)

The long stem and track drops really do it for me.
-
• #62770
Would you like it any less if I told you it was a converted/restored road frame? Love the seat tube... Would've looked like this.
-
• #62771
deal with it
Stem is useless for a cross bike. The bars will slip over the first big bump.

No they won't. The only time I got bars to slip in an X2 was when using a speed bump to launch a few feet in the air with a heavyish landing on tarmac. They didn't slip in normal off road use.

Presumably on an MTB. With road bars and riding the hoods, the load is applied about 6-8" away from the axis of the clamp, so the situation is quite different.

Kindly do one mate.
