Push tried fitting one of the Velo Orange press BBs but couldn't get it to fit.
Thanks for the suggestion though.

XL is too big for a 6ft person. Medium/large pomp would fit

XL Pomp £60
http://www.lfgss.com/thread84278.html#post2838491May be a case of begger being chooser, but I'd like to try and source something that can hold dual brake...

My pomp will be available in a few weeks. It's also XL, though.
I'm not sure how away from the crack of death it is though, as I'm not the lightest person ever. Then again I don't hop much, unlike Badger and Cam.

Not sure what you mean here Joe. Why can't a pomp hold a dual brake?
A lot of them do. -

long shot... i'm flogging my old inbred 18" mtb frame for £60. it's battle beaten but very much in good condition.

The one you posted has no bosses.

Ah I skimmed. Why would you do that?
Cable ties? -

Cheers, but having just got my 700 wheels re-built I'd be keen to keep using them!

Thanks John. Crack of doom aside, I don't think I could wait for weeks!
Thanks to everyone that's posted so far.
I may have been a bit overly dramatic in saying that my Gazelle is dead. Essentially, there may be something that could be done through some Ryan magic. But I thought I'd post here to see what kind of frames are out there as it may become a decision between putting a fair whack into fixing my frame, or spending the same to get another one second hand.
I will keep looking into fixing mine, but if anyone has or knows of frames going, please do post here...

Hit up ryan and buy his v1 polo bike

I think Ed has that now?

ok, v2, the one before the one he has now
My beloved gazelle polo frame seems to be dead. Thread in BB shell is mashed (Push have tried to revive and glue but it came undone yesterday).
It looks I may have to bury Gazza and get a new frame. What with all the upgrades that people have been doing I was wondering whether anyone has an old frame they'd want to sell?

Joe
