  • Beautiful Bianchi Veloce in iconic Celeste Green with a blue metallic tint in near original spec other than period correct racier Saddle (San Marco Squadra not in picture) and beefy Uno Stem.

The tubing is Columbus Chromor and the frame features an oversized downtube which gives it a great 90s transition look with all the features of classic steel frames and a nod to the shape of frames to come.

The wheels are beautiful original Bianchi rims which have a lovely blue hue to them all laced to Campag hubs with Campag skewers.

The full Campagnolo Veloce Groupset is stunning visually and technically. I was never too bothered about Shimano vs Campagnolo until I rode this and although still happy to run either I do concede that their product ranges do not match up at each entry point and rank this Veloce above 105 and approaching Ultegra.

This really is a lovely headturner and outstanding quality from top to toe but leaves me feeling a little stretched after rides so it is time for me to find comfort in a smaller bike.

    Dimensions:

    59cm Seat Tube C-C
    58cm Top Tube C-C

I have owned the bike since October 2011 when I purchased it from a LFGSS seller in Germany based on the pictures below, which do it more justice than my shaky camera skills, and wasn't disappointed. It has been protected in all the key areas with 'helicopter tape' which I intended freshening up this summer and only suffers from a couple of very minor chips.

I am after a very reasonable £395ono and would prefer collection but am happy to post for an additional £25 within the UK.

Will consider selling just the Frame & Forks too for a reasonable offer

  • Will sell just Frame & Forks with or without the Wheels

  • How tall are you and what's your inseam measurement? I fear it might be a bit too big for me.

Just joshing Twist it is a pretty bike and looks sweeter with the Squadra Saddle rather than the Rolls.

Seeing the price of a few of the other bikes listed on here lately I think I am asking too little!!!!

  • Just measured up a few more details for the Bianchi for a potential buyer and thought I may as well share them here...

  • Hi, Where would collection be from?

Collection from Basingstoke, 40mins Train from Waterloo or 40mins down the M3

  • I have found some extra pictures of the Bianchi taken a couple of months ago showing the Squadra Saddle but please note that the stem is back to the Kalloy stem on the first set of pictures.

She really is a gem! Especially at £395 delivered in the UK

  • This is ideal - just need to get paid now!

  • Wonga.com ;-)

  • lovely bike, lovely price..

  • ...slippery slope!

  • ...slippery slope!

Yes it is but you'd be coasting down that slope on this beauty!!

Just kidding mate, times are tricky and we have to be sensible. As much as I would like a roll of pound notes in my pocket to spend on another bike I would hate to think that someone had gotten themselves in a financial hole to buy her.

  • If you still haven't sold it by the time i get paid at the end of the month i will happily take it off your hands.

  • or would you be willing to save it for me?

  • or would you be willing to save it for me?

Don't ask, You don't get!! My difficulty is who do I save it for as I have had a three people email me for details saying that they are all holding out till payday.

I am happy to reserve it for a buyer but it seems fair to ask for a deposit in this situation

  • I happy to pay a deposit, how much would you like?
