70's Holdsworth, Fixed or Gears?

About to build this nice Holdsworth frame up but can't decide on fixed or geared

Fixed would be TA chainset, 60s Airlite 27'' flip flop wheels
fiamme bars/stem, brooks

Geared would be Gran Sport double with regina 5 spd, Campag record wheels, nos mafac brakeset, brooks, fiamme bars/stem

just can't decide

The Airlite flip flop wheels which someone has managed to get a 7spd on would still fit in the 120 spacing of the Holdsworth
pictured here on another frame

but not completely sure if i can use them fixed, there would be a big gap on the free side,
i guess usable though?

I would say gears but, as you have two lovely geared projects in here already, why not build it up fixed?

Dont forget to cut off the braze-ons and powdercoat it

Presumably you'd have to have the wheel redished to use it fixed? Surely the alignment would be out if you just flipped it round?

It's got a gear hanger. You'll have to build it with gears.

Those wheels were built to flip from side to side with no need for dishing. Problem is that it looks odd with the radical dishing. Be best to find a double fixed wheel if you could. I have set out to use a G/F hub for fixed and then ended up taking a DF from another bike as the wheel looks balanced.

speaking of double fixed hubs i have a set of Bayliss small flange to build on 26" dunlop steel for my Hobbs

what i can't get is the 15/17 spokes
