which side? i find crouch the crouch end side is really easy, its the crouchend station side i find it the real beast, thats the side i do daily, wemight have seen each other.
Coming up past Evans side - not that steep at all but in the mornings it's defo a little sting for me, and I like to do a quick sprint up Glebe Road which gives a little burn!

^ I used to do that one but i brought me no closer to where I needed to be for work, so went for Crouch End hill, also used to do Wightman Road but the sheer number of fu*kwits driving there put and end to that.
May of seen you, but I'm usually on a Yellow/Red 1980 Fausto Coppi as my commuter or a Black Ribble Stealth as my weekend/training ride.

I do that on my training rides taking in Queens Wood Road for the added pain as it climbs slowly for a good while then tails up very sharply up to the lights.
There is a good North London hills loop on Strava, taking in a good number of hills -
http://app.strava.com/segments/894384/embed , that at some point I'll be hoping to do
hopes above works

I live at the top of Crouch Hill (Mount View Road) and find Shepherds Hill from Park Road to Highgate is a good one to include as well as North End Road from Golders Green station up to the roundabout at what used to be Jack Straw's Castle; alternatively, the scenic route with less traffic is via Hampstead Garden Suburb up through Turners Wood.
Hope to do more hills now that snow/ice has gone!

yeah once snow and the awful black road shite that covers everything has mooched I'll be hitting the hills, at the moment my training consists of going from work Kings X - down to Richmond park couple of loops then back up to Regents then a couple there then a few a few hills on the way back home to Ally Pally

cool
true, but seeing as I'm usually still half asleep by the time I reach Crouch Hill, it's a nice 'little sting' in the mornings!
Might be up for some hill rides on a Monday evening though (once weather cheers up) as sick of coming home with everyday bike covered in black roadpissshit and having to give it a quick blast with the hose before I can bring it anywhere near the house, so stuff having to do it on my commuter then my training bike!
