Got my leave for today, tomorrow and monday approved AN AGE AGO by my line manager and then a while back she was all "oh, that leave you've got? You can't have the friday anymore because we need you in"
It's the deadline for a year end financial report due to be in from NHS Trusts - yes, we've been busy this week but most of the queries have been in the week NOT on deadline day. Apparently it's business critical that someone is here to reply to emails and say "cheers for submitting" and then file the return somewhere.
