Good call, I think they only do laster cutting (so wont be able to do the chamfered angles) but i'll give them a try.

There's a place on Bethnal Green road. I bought a case from them a few years ago.

I think that's probably Hamar unless there's another place?

i work at cut laser cut - this week, as im sure you have been told, we're up to our arses in work.
if you want a mitred edge, your probably best just cutting it with a decent mitre saw? you get a suprisingly good edge on 5mm acrylic.

The mitred edge needs to be along the thickness of the acrylic, not sure my saw skills are accurate enough to cut a 5mm wide 500mm deep 45 degree angle!
A while ago i popped into CLC to get some white acrylic letters cut at short notice , and recently enquired about a clear acrylic case someone was even kind enough to phone me and point me in the direction of Hamar (you guys were very helpful even when you couldn't do what i needed)
Would thoroughly recommend you to anyone!

Managed to book some time at blueprint on saturday for half an hour to cut the pieces, I guess i'll just have to butt joint the case together, not the prettiest joint , but needs must.
Up until that point suggestions are welcome!

I work at White Villa Signs and Blinds and we have a laser machine there. I'm not sure of prices and stuff but I'm pretty sure you could go tomorrow and have it done by friday. We rarely use the laser cutter. Best give my boss a visit or call first. Here is our website. We are based in New Cross, SE14. Right next to Millwall Stadium.

They were going to be removed to create a relief of the letters in the plaster, but on the test model they go stuck in place an we like the effect so went with it!
I'm running out of time to get a clear acrylic display case made, as usual i've left things too late.
I have tried usual places like Hamar, Cut Laser Cut and Denny Plastics but I need one made by Monday/Tuesday.
Does anyone know where I can either, get 5mm acrylic cut to size with smooth 45 degree edges to weld together myself
Or someone who can make the case.
Both by Monday, I am based in London so it may be more useful if whoever can make it is based here, but not essential!
Any help here is most welcome
