I have the Dirt Harry lever in green. Not Campag or Shimano, but one of the levers of choice for bikes with a front-brake only.

thanks for the offer, I think green lever might be not exactly what I want, silver would be ideal. sorry i wasn't very specific…

cheers, tutu -

how much you willing to spend? am happy to do it relatively cheap so any offer will be thought upon, just lying about atm. the saddle is white brand new no tear on it at all. a rip off of the charge spoon but a nice saddle, very similar.

And what is wrong with a pink frame? Pray tell!

sorry now I've already sorted a frame, and possibly a saddle, but I'll keep yours in mind, thanks very much

I've got a Specialised helmet hardly worn you can have for £10 if you want. Berns are hot in the summer.

no nothing's wrong with a pink frame, didn't mean to offend anyone. It's just that as a girl I have been dressed in pink pretty much all my early childhood, so eventually I started to hate it.
now I've ended up with a nice flamboyant cherry frame -

now I've ended up with a nice flamboyant cherry frameFunnily enough back in the 19th century pink was a colour for boys and not girls.....a childish version of red [red=male].....but when i had a frame in pink.....my mother asked me if i was 'Gay'!.....naturally i told her i was very happy......with the frame.....she was not amused [her name wasn't Victoria either]....but i was only kidding earlier on.

I was born when Soviet Union just started to fall apart and pink was regarded as a colour of weakness and not so popular with women, but then Western goods started flooding in and everything for girls was pink. I think it made everyone happy. Now it's all pretty much grey.

I have some Campag track pedals with clips and straps. As a cheaper alternative, i have some road pedals with the quills cut off to look like track pedals. This was common practice back in the 70s to give more cornering clearance in crits. PM me if you are interested and I'll get some photos taken.

Apologies to those I failed to reply, a couple of emails got lost among my work mail…
Still missing a few bits:
1. Crankset: silver pista, vintage or modern Campagnolo / Shimano / Sugino, cranks 165mm, 46-48t chainring (I assumed 46/17 would be a good ratio for a newbie?)
2. Saddle: vintage San Marco or Brooks? If possible in rather good condition, without scratches.
3. Silver track pedals with toeclips and straps – Campagnolo / Shimano / Miche…
Thanks

Few tears but nothing major. Pm if interested.
Hello
I'm looking for a few missing components in addition to what I have to build my first fg/ss bike with. Would be very grateful if anyone can help.
Also I need one of those basic all-in-one toolkits for small tweaks, as currently I have no tools apart from a couple of allen keys and a spanner.
If anyone has and would like to sell any of the parts above, please feel free to contact me via PM or email: tutu@theday.co.uk, I'm based in North London.
Thanks
Tutu
