Far from perfect. It is traditional to have Cup Finals at 3pm. That's when we play them. This move just makes the Cup Final any other game. Apparently the only reason Chelsea have been allowed to postpone their league game due to be played on that day is because we were due to play Liverpool and Liverpool refused to play. Any other team and we would have had to play twice on a Saturday. In that event the FA Cup Final would have been played at 3 pm and our league game at 12 noon.
A 5:30 kick off gives Liverpool supporters much longer to get absolutely drunk and create disturbances before the game.
