I was there the other week! If you go to RIH they open and close at weird times! Like 3pm on a saturday! Went to the flea markets. Lots of stuff for the polo players.
Found another shop in Waterlooplein that had BLB stuff in! -

Hi all. Quick resurrection of this thread as I'm off to Amsterdam tomorrow and would quite like to do some shopping - ideally for vintage rather than modern. Any suggestion gratefully received. Thanks.

Think RIH is worth a look for more trad stuff, somebody may want to correct me though

Might not be that vintage, but still a good and nice fixed gear shop :).

So... RIH and Pristine ticked off. Both well worth a visit - Pristine chaps especially friendly (they even printed off my boarding passes for the flight home!). Picked up a locally made wooden flat handlebar while there. No idea what I'll use it on yet but it looked great...

Any lfgss guys in the dam atm? Passed a guy on a very practical fixed, didn't get
see the brand.. It had racks and stuff, looked like something that I imagined Scobles
would be riding. He looked Englishy..
Going to amsterdam next week, but I've heard that there are surprisingly few fixies there despite it being the biggest bike-city in Europe.
Anyone knows of any good shops where I can pick up some fixed gear-friendly stuff? =)
P.S.
Haha! ^^ No fixie-skidder in my thread title!
