cheers, possibly a respray and rechrome of forks / rear end. Front triangle paintwork isn't bad at all, and would be happy keeping it looking as it is, but rear triangle is mostly chromed and has been painted over at a later stage (maybe just a few years after new, its hard to tell as paint matchs nicely) and it obviously hasn't stuck to teh chrome so its coming away like a rash. Forks are pretty badly faded and again coming off the chrome, and crown has micro blisters appearing. So looks sweet in photos, but up close, its a bit of a sight!
If I respray I was thinking of keeping forks all chrome exposed (as it was delivered) and rear triangle, or at least drive side chain stay and dropouts.
Is that a cut down swift on there? I just got a used one yesterday that was a bit mis-shapen, and even with loads of tension on it, the wings are quite broad, much broader than I was expecting.
It does look great in the photographs! My saddle is a Ti Swallow, not a chopped Swift.
Nice is that.
Cheers! I'm surprised you haven't seen it around Leeds.
