Ive been googling this for a while, but havnt found a decent answer. ive got some old italian leather road shoes with slotted cleats, but they also have 3 bolts for modern SPD-SL style cleats. so im thinking of using them. the question is would SPD SL pedals be alright when doing whip skids and skip stops and the like? or am i going to find them unclipping on me all the time...?
