I'm no expert either but quite sure that:
1st gen levers had the circle bits you mention and they also had those fiddly little inserts for the cables which are a pain to set up and easily lost. 2nd gen didn't have inserts and had a hole in the lever (front centre top)
All monoplanars had group name laser etched on them apart from Chorus afaik. Also square edged blocks indicate they are early models. Very nice condition these ones as they are prone to rust.
Friction levers points to an early group I'm quite sure 2nd gen was indexed.
Biggest give away is the the very distinctive rear mech which is very clearly 1st gen Chorus.
Very honorable of you to keep the price so low, this groupset is a superb deal!
