LOL - sorry for laughing but that reminded me of the time I thought it would be a good idea to ride to the start of the Richmond 10K and got completely lost trying to find the right exit gate closest to the start. 30 mins after the race had started, I found it.
On the other hand I did end up doing a complete lap and a half of Richmond Park. Still can't read a map too well though!
