Decent LBS in North, North-West

Anyone know any good independent bike shops in Kilburn/Willesden Green/Camden kinda area?

Not that there's much wrong with Evans et al but I'd rather be giving my money to somebody who needs it etc.

Plus, being asked for my post code everytime I buy a brake block gets on my tits.

More central than North/North West, but Fitzrovia Cycles are always helpful

Chamberlains in kentish town is half decent

There's always Condor cycles in Gray's Inn Road.

Unfortunately, the best cycle shop in north west London, Whisker's of Kilburn Lane, closed down a while ago.

every time ive been into Chamberlains, they either havent had what i was looking for or have given me totally incorrect advice, perfectly friendly though. Cloud9 ftw!

It was better when PinkGottiMobbs was there.

Fudges on Harrow Road are a decent enough bunch

I don't normally go out of my way to be negative about a shop but fudges are terrible. Anecdotes aside (of which I have a few gems) they don't carry quality components or bikes and are often rude and their lack of helpful advice is abysmal. Avoid.

Bicycle workshop on all saints road unquestionably one of the best bike shops in london.

The only fudge cycles saving grace is the fact they they do some cracking deals online for sram groupsets

I'd forgotten about Fudges. I used to use them in the 70's when I lived nearby. Didn't realise they were still there.

Not so much a shop for buying stuff, although they do carry some lines, but much more a repairs/services type shop.
