Maybe I'm being a bit thick, but can't you just set them up and run tubeless to see if it works. Then if it doesn't just put a tube in there anyway?
I realised that there will be some weight in the tubeless kit, but I can't imagine it's a lot.
I was looking at the Stans road rims, and looking into tubeless, but was then put off by the lack of tubeless road tyres... but then put back on by a site somewhere saying they work better/as well with normal road tyres.
