Did tynan make it in gold?
-

I don't think so, you can't see it in the photo, but he has actually sprayed the cassette gold as well.

I think it's more him trying to make it so little b~#tards that nick bikes and strip them of components to sell on gumtree and ebay will think twice.
They'll have anything off a bike in some areas.
This, or conversely, done to disguise a stolen bike.

Someone had a rant in the pub about 'what the hipster fixie kids like' and his mate went and built it, without considering that the 'classic steel frames and thomson stems' might be on different bikes.
It's like all of the HHSB thread at once.
I love it.

what, you think its anti-theft paste?
No not anti theft paste. If your going to try and sell on a bike / components then you're not going to steal the bike with loads of paint all over it/them.
I lived on an estate in Mile end where a group of kids used to come door to door with nicked and off the "back of a lorry bits".
They'd worked out its easier to get away with nicking and selling on a bike if they split it frame wheels components etc, rather than posting a picture of the bike they'd just nicked on gumtree.
(Yes, I did tell the police but they always had more pressing matters to deal with.)

Change the crankset, put some box rims on it, would look rather nice.

I hate negative stems sticking out that far, looks totally shity. But a regular stem getting that bar position would need a tiny 70/80mm which would also look lame. What I am basically saying is the frame and saddle are my only keepers...

erm... why?

• #23712
some people...that has to be one of the stupidest things I have ever seen! those frames are like £700 (and shit) fuck I don't have to spell it out, we all know how mad this is! just to top of the £1500 Kool bike iz dem wellgo pedals...

Hold on that is deff the smallest size you can get that man/woman (child) would clearly have a hard time getting any frame to fit so its not that ridculous to have the seatpost and stem so short. The pedals unforgivable.

Rear derailleur cable outer is too short on top of everything. Probably shifts like crap.
-
• #23721
presumably this is a custom frame with 135 rear spacing?? ^^^^^^
totally retarded.
-
• #23722
The internal cable routing for the rear brake comes out at a terrible angle, causes the cable to bend in a less than ideal way.
Whole thing is a joke fam.
-
• #23723
It would have look awesome had it been built properly, I quite like the crankset on that frame.

The MASH? Nope, he's running 7 speed.
